We are BUGS Netball Club

BUGs is a local netball club based in North Hampshire that gives players of all ages and abilities the opportunity to have fun playing netball and progress within the sport.

Established in 1988 the club is well respected and very active within local leagues and tournaments. We promote equal rights for all players regardless of age or ability, and provide support for all players interested in learning new skills like coaching or umpiring. BUGs endeavours to ensure that all its members have fun playing netball and feel like the valued players they are.

Seniors

Currently we have 2 senior teams who play in local leagues in Basingstoke and Farnborough. We enter several tournaments each year, including sending teams to Butlins tournaments in the past. Every season sees our senior teams finishing high in each division they play in. Our Basingstoke team is currently unbeaten 2 seasons in a row.

Juniors

For our junior members we also enter a number of age group teams in local leagues and tournaments like Wavell and Fareham. We also support talented players with trialling for satellite and academy teams.

Older junior members are given the opportunity to play within the senior teams as well to help gain experience from playing higher level adult netball. Like our senior teams, we enter lots of local tournaments with various age group teams including Butlins and also travelling internationally – for example participating in the annual tournament at Disneyland Paris in October 2017.
